GiveForms has a powerful Salesforce integration that exports all your donations automatically to Salesforce. Follow the steps below to connect GiveForms with Salesforce.

Step 1. Connect Your Salesforce Account

After you Sign In to GiveForms, go to Account > Salesforce.

Click Connect with Salesforce, then sign in to Salesforce.

Note that whatever account you use to sign in to Salesforce will be the account that creates each transaction.

Step 2. Map GiveForms Fields to Salesforce

After you've successfully connected your GiveForms account, you'll see a Map Salesforce Fields button on the Salesforce screen. Click this and map GiveForms fields to Salesforce.

Step 3. Mapping Forms & Custom Fields

Click Forms > *Form Name* then click the Salesforce link. Here you can map your form to a campaign in Salesforce. You can also map any custom fields you've created on your form.

Note that if you don't map a Salesforce campaign, GiveForms will search for a campaign with the same form name. If one exists, the form will automatically be mapped, otherwise a new Salesforce campaign is created.

Duplicate Contacts

GiveForms automatically checks donations with email addresses in Salesforce to minimize data duplication.

If a donation is made that has the same email address, first, and last name as a Salesforce contact, the Opportunity is added to that Salesforce Household account.

If the email address is the same but first and last name differ, a new Contact is created under the same Household account.

Recurring Donations

New monthly recurring donations are created as closed opportunities, with the next 11 months shown as pledged opportunities.  Each additional recurring donation will be a child to the parent recurring donation.

Automatically Mapped Fields

A number of GiveForms fields are mapped automatically after you connect your Salesforce account, including:

Salesforce Account Object
Name

Salesforce Contact Object
FirstName
LastName
Email
Phone
Mailing Street
Mailing City
Mailing State
Mailing Postal Code
Mailing Country

Salesforce Opportunity Object
Amount
Name
Stage Name
Close Date
